Monel – Non-Electric Detonator

A complete range of non-electric detonators with delay times up to 8000 Ms.
Monel initiation system is a complete range of non-electric detonators with delay times up to 8000 MS. For surface applications, such as quarrying and construction, Monel detonators are widely praised for their flexibility. Being easy to use, they allow to save time in the blast preparation while offering a high safety level.

Monel Millisecond Detonators are a series of high strength non-electric detonators with millisecond (MS) delay intervals between successive firing times, providing a series of delay times suitable for surface mining, quarrying and underground operations. These MS Detonators will directly initiate Pentex boosters and packaged explosives.

Monel In-hole Detonator assembly is a length of shock tubing, which has an In-hole detonator, crimped on one end. The free end of the shock tube is sealed.  The nominal delay period and shock tubing length are printed on the tag label along with date and stock code.

Monel Duo detonator assembly is a length of shock tubing, which has an In-hole detonator crimped onto one end and a Connector detonator crimped onto the other end. The Connector detonator is located into a connector block. The block is color coded according to the delay of the Connector detonator.  The tag label is printed with the nominal delay periods of the Connector and In-hole detonators respectively.  The tag label is also printed with the detonator length, date and stock code.

Monel Connector detonator assembly is a length of shock tubing which has a low strength, low shrapnel connector detonator crimped on one end suitable for use out of hole. The free end of the shock tube is sealed.  The nominal delay period and shock tube length are printed on the tag label along with date and stock code.  The detonator is located in a plastic connector block. The block is color coded according to the delay of the detonator.
